The Cruising Association headquarters building was completed in 1993 and enabled the Association to move from St Catherine’s Dock to Lime House Basin in the newly revitalised Docklands region of London. The cost of the work was £700,000 with a contract time eight months on site. The engineers were Ove Arup. At a more local level, sports pavilions have been completed near Barnet and at Knebworth and a large sports and community centre has been planned for nearby Codicote.
